Varsha and Bhavesh were married in the serene surroundings of Stanmore Temple on a bright, sunny day. It was a real pleasure to capture their Asian wedding and civil ceremony photography. As always, the photos need to tell the story of the couple’s special day, and it was twice as important for this wedding, as Varsha and Bhavesh like so many couples, chose not to have a videographer.
My style of photography is unobstrusive, I document the moments as they happen without prompting and posing. There is some setting up for group photos but even here, I like family and friends to have some fun. During the couple’s portraits, I let the couple relax and have a chat while I click away to get some candid shots. All of this means that the couple get a full set of images which they will look through and be transported back to their special day. Take a look at the small selection of photos from this Indian wedding at Stanmore Temple to get a feel for the joy, fun and colour of this wedding.
A massive thank you to Varsha and Bhavesh, their families and friends who were extremely welcoming and a joy to photograph. It was lovely getting to know you all!
