As a professional wedding photographer based in London and specialising in Asian/Hindu wedding photography, I am privileged that the couple have chosen me to capture their wedding day as it unfolds.
Sapna and Sydney booked me as their wedding photographer to cover their registry wedding and reception in Hendon Hall, and their Hindu wedding in North West London. I also did their pre-wedding shoot in Kent, which was a fabulous location for a perfect shoot.
Sapna and Sydney had their Hindu wedding in Kenton Hall, in Kenton, North West London. I kicked off the day by covering Sapna’s bridal preparation and by the time I finished, the mandap was all set up and looked amazing. Not long before that, Sydney arrived accompanied by his family, friends and the dhol player. Both families officially met and then Sydney’s formal welcome was conducted by Sapna’s aunt in true Gujarati style including the pinching of the nose, to the amusement of the wedding guests.
After the Ganesh puja, Sapna made her grand entrance into the mandap and was applauded by the guests. The Hindu wedding ceremony itself was not only emotional, loving and relaxed but, above all, it was a lot of fun! Along the way, the priest offered lots of advice and words of wisdoms.
Before the emotional farewell, I managed to get some lovely portrait shots of the couple. I love taking creative photographs using the surroundings to capture images which the bride and groom look back on fondly in the years to come.
Sapna and Sydney, it was a great pleasure to be part of your wedding celebrations. I wish you both the best for the future and may the moments that I captured bring back beautiful memories from all your wedding events and it’s a joy to share just a few of the photos from this truly memorable occasion below.
If you’re getting married at either Hendon Hall or Kenton Hall in North West London and are looking for a creative, documentary wedding photographer to tell a story of your day without prompting or posing, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
