Hindu Wedding at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Essex

After a consultation before Christmas, Leena and Craig booked me for their Church and Hindu wedding photography in Colchester, Essex.

The day began with the intimate church wedding at St Edmund Church in Colchester and then it was time for their Hindu wedding ceremony, which took place at the stunning Stoke By Nayland Hotel in Essex. This is an absolutely beautiful location for wedding celebrations with its breathtaking facade and ground. The entire day was awash with colour and emotion, a wedding photographer’s dream.

Weddings are just awesome. Every month I get to photograph beautiful couples, looking fabulous on the happiest days of their lives. What more could you want from this job?

Leena got ready in the big bridal room in Stoke by Nayland Hotel and was perfectly calm throughout the make-up process. This was pretty much how the day continued with both Leena and Craig really relaxed on their wedding day!

The Indian wedding ceremony was beautiful and there were smiles all around. The fun and games started during koda kodi, when despite Leena’s brother holding Craig, he was the first to find the ring in bowl of rose water, and won!

Congratulations to Leena and Craig. You guys truly make a fabulous couple, and thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. Now, on to some of my favorite photographs from this wedding.

Keep a look out for the blog about their wedding reception, where “the party rocked”!
