Mehndi evening at City Pavilion, East London – A night to remember!

Bijal and Akash’s mehndi evening at the City Pavilion in East London a few months ago was an unforgettable evening. Colours Photo and Film were the photographer and videographers for this musical event. The setting was a Gujarat village, completing with mesmerising lighting, cow and cart, ladies applying mehndi and traditional outfits & food stalls, and guests were literally transported to back to Gujarat in India.  The performances by friends and family were out of this world including Bijal and the girls dancing to Nagada Sang Dhol from Ramleela. The boys were not to be outdone and treated the audience to a brilliant performance of the Lungi Dance. When the dance floor opened, the guests showed their sensational dance moves as they danced the night away. It was an evening to remember as you will see from these photos.

Looks like a fun evening:PACKED with colour and first class entertainment, with both male and female professional dancers, there certainly was something for everybody. Love the overall feeling of happiness that has been captured by paying attention to everyone’s expressions, though in some images it appears as if the detail in the shadows has been sacrificed, in order to accentuate the the overall “punchy” impact. Good choice of images too and I must say that the décor and theme is BRILLIANT. xx ElaineReplyCancel
