As a wedding photographer based in the South-East of England, London provides many fantastic locations to do pre-wedding shoots, and Regents Park is an especially favourite place. In the spring and summer months, the park comes into its own when as well as the blossom and greenery, the Rose Garden is also in bloom. The beauty of doing pre-wedding shoots in the summer months is that even at around 6pm/7pm in the evening, the light is amazing to shoot in. Pre wedding photography is really great fun, and a fantastic way for bride and groom to get to know me & visa versa. It may be that, perhaps this could be the first time the couple have been in front of the camera of a professional wedding photographer, and so the shoot serves as a great dress rehearsal for the big day! As Bharti and Haresh live in London, they chose Regents Park as the location for their shoot.
After meeting the couple at Great Portland Street underground station, we headed to Regents Park. It was effortless for me to get great pictures of them both as they were such a relaxed and fun couple. We even had an opportunity to photograph on some tractors. The best part of the shoot was on the waterfall where Haresh enjoyed throwing water on Bharti! As the evening started to set in, we were able to get some romantic pictures using creative lighting.
After this successful pre-wedding shoot, I am really looking forward to covering Bharti and Haresh’s Asian wedding events later this summer. If you are planning a London pre-wedding photoshoot or are looking to for a wedding photographer in London, contact me to check availability.
In the meantime, here are a few photos from the shoot – enjoy!
