Romantic London Pre-Wedding Shoot

I have another gorgeous story of love to share with you – the pre-wedding photography of Sarah and Kwaku on the South Bank in London. You have seen a sneak peak, now its time for a full blog post.

London is a fantastic city, which has some of the world’s most iconic landmarks and is now fast becoming the destination city for couples for their engagement or pre-wedding shoots. It provides a beautiful backdrop as its full of vibrancy, glorious colours and lots of culture, history and art.

After months of waiting for the weather to improve, we finally had a day that was perfect a few months ago for their pre-wedding photo-shoot. We headed to South Bank and started off on Hungerford Bridge. In central London, trying to get photograph with so many members of the public around is always a challenge, but I love having them in my photographs as it shows the ‘real’ city. From here, we headed to the Coca-Cola London Eye where the evening sunset provided perfect light for photos, with Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament in the background.

Sarah and Kwaku also wanted something different from this shoot and while on the South Bank, I asked the popcorn seller if, for few minutes, Kwaku would take his place and sell popcorn to Sarah – to which he readily agreed. Sarah had to bargain to get some popcorn from Kwaku!

As the evening started to unfold and the lights of the London Eye became brighter, it was the perfect time to capture romantic photographs.

Hope you enjoy the images from this shoot below; if you are getting married in London or like the idea of a pre-wedding or engagement photo-shoots, then please get in touch for a chat.
