We started Colours Film in 2012 and are going from strength to strength. We use the latest DSLR cameras for wedding videography to provide crisp and clear cinematic footage of your event. We edit in Final Cut Pro, giving you a high quality, professional film. When filming, our principle is to capture what’s happening in a naturally creative, fun and vibrant way. We edit with ‘emotion’ in mind so when you watch your film, you’ll literally be carried back to those moments in time.

Deepa and Monik were married at The Thistle Marble Arch Hotel in central London. From the groom’s stylish arrival with beating dhols to the competitiveness of the milni; from the crowds mesmerised by the beautiful bride to the happiness of the wedding ceremony; from the really enjoyable entertainment at the reception to the fun of the dance-off – this wedding really had it all!
Misha And Hetal’s Civil Wedding, Hindu Wedding and Reception at Cavendish Banqueting Suite
Colours Photo and Film had the enjoyable experience of doing the photography and videography of Misha and Hetal’s Hindu wedding last month. The day commenced with the civil wedding at the Cavendish Banqueting Suite in North London – the groom was suitably nervous but he was ably supported by his best men. The bridesmaids in their simple and beautiful red outfits complimented Misha in her stunning wedding gown. The vows were said, rings exchanged and some tears shed by a very proud mother in the crowd. The civil wedding was followed by the Hindu ceremony in front of family and friends, with a beautiful mandap from Wed-in-Style . The maharaj took the time to explain the rituals and their significance, and the ceremony ended all too quickly. For the reception, Misha and Hetal changed into their evening outfits with a blue colour scheme. The cake was cut, champagne drunk and speeches made before the couple took to the floor for the first dance to ‘My Girl’. We really loved photographing and filming Misha and Hetal’s special day. Catering was provided by Annapurna Caterers of East London.
Vanisha and Jekyll’s Hindu Wedding and Reception Videography at Stock Brook Manor
Vanisha and Jekyll’s wedding day in November was full of so many joyful and unforgettable moments. The groom, his family and friends had arrived from Australia and New Zealand only a short time before. The wedding day dawned with heavy, thunderous rain but this soon cleared as the celebrations got underway when the jaan arrived at Stock Brook Manor. At the beautiful Gujarati ceremony guests witnessed Vanisha and Jekyll joined in marriage as the priest conducted the traditional rituals and pheras. The evening reception was equally enjoyable as the couple cut the cake and took to the dance floor for their first dance. Guests were also entertained with the speeches and dance performances.

Vaishali and Sachin’s wedding celebrations were dazzling and lively, from the moment the groom made his grand entrance for the Hindu wedding at the Sattavis Patidar Centre, to the colour, music and dance of the reception at The City Pavillion – this was an unforgettably beautiful wedding week.
Vanisha and Jekil’s Reception Entrance Film
We had a very short time to plan and shoot a pre-wedding film for Vanisha and Jekil. The couple were keen on a romantic comedy and after putting together a storyboard proposal, the film was shot in Southall and Wembley, in London. The story goes that Vanisha and Jekil met by chance in a jalebi (sweet) shop, hit it off and decided to get married the next day! Next follows an expensive wedding shopping spree in the shops of Wembley.

Reena and Brijesh’s engagement at The Grange was a happy and fun-filled event starting with portraits and family photos, followed by the formal engagement ceremony and ending with a lighthearted mehfil and dance. And Brijesh provided plenty of laughs along the way!

Nilma and Rupen’s sanji was an energetic and colourful pre-wedding celebration as you will see from this highlights film. The festivities began with the ‘chaab’ when Rupen’s family presented gifts to Nilma. Rupen even serenaded Nilma with a Bollywood number which the guests absolutely loved. The celebrations continued with everyone hitting the dance floor for garba and dandiya.
